No advance booking is needed for standard wheelchair access. Show up, wait at the pontoon gate, staff will deploy the ramp. For groups of three or more wheelchair users, calling ACTV at 800 845 065 the day before helps them prepare crew.
Most water taxis can take a folded wheelchair, but the boat-to-dock transfer is rarely step-free. Specialised operators exist — "Venezia Accessibile" coordinates accessible water taxis if you need door-to-door service.
