Your Vaporetto ticket does not cover the airport. Four real options exist, plus one add-on at the ticket machine. Here is which one fits which trip.

Three different operators serve Marco Polo: ACTV (your Vaporetto ticket), ATVO (a private bus) and Alilaguna (a private water bus). They share platforms but not tickets. Below: a price-and-time matrix to pick the right one in 30 seconds.
Prices are one-way unless noted. Times are typical, not guaranteed.
| Option | Travel time | Price | Best for |

If you buy a 24-hour, 48-hour or 72-hour Vaporetto ticket, you can add the ACTV Aerobus at the machine for an extra €7 one-way or €13 return. This is by far the cheapest way to combine airport bus + city transport.
Buy your Vaporetto ticket online before you go, redeem it at the Marco Polo arrivals machine, and tick the Aerobus add-on right there. One contactless ticket covers the bus to Piazzale Roma and the next three days of Venice.
If the bus is not your style, two other GetYourGuide options arrive direct by water. Pick the one that fits your trip — both with free cancellation up to 24 h before use.

ATVO Express runs Treviso ↔ Mestre ↔ Piazzale Roma in about 70 minutes. The clever option is the combi ticket — ATVO Treviso return plus a 3-day ACTV ticket for €63.

No. The Vaporetto ticket covers Venice city transport only — vaporetto, bus, tram, People Mover. The Marco Polo airport bus (ACTV Aerobus / ATVO) and the Alilaguna water bus need a separate ticket, or a paid add-on at the ticket machine.
The ACTV Aerobus or ATVO Express bus at €10 single. If you also need a multi-day Vaporetto ticket, the +€7 Aerobus add-on at the redemption machine is cheaper than two separate tickets.
The Alilaguna Orange Line up the Grand Canal — 60 to 75 minutes from Marco Polo to Santa Maria del Giglio. It costs €18 and is genuinely worth the extra time for the first arrival.
When you arrive with luggage, with kids, late at night, or with three or four other people splitting the fare. €150–€200 for up to six passengers becomes very reasonable per head.
Children under 6 are free on ACTV Aerobus, ATVO and Alilaguna. From age 6 the full adult fare applies — there is no separate child ticket.
Official ACTV ticket via GetYourGuide. Add the Aerobus at the machine for +€7. Free cancellation up to 24 h before use.
